The reliable humidity management allows a merely CO2-controlled ventilation concept
In buildings with lower internal moisture loads (e.g. offices, hotels, hospitals, care facilities, flats), conventional surface cooling systems generally require a ventilation system with a high air exchange rate to protect against excess moisture in the cooled room. The natural climate ceilings can easily absorb these humidity levels. This means that the CO2 content becomes the sole control or design variable, which significantly reduces the required air volumes. CO2 regulation via passive differential pressure fans is sufficient. There is close co-operation with SIEGENIA in this segment. The total investment is reduced by around 30% and the operating and maintenance costs are almost completely eliminated.
